[摘要]
βB2晶状体蛋白是β族晶状体蛋白中含量最高的一类，主要高表达于晶状体内，其正常结构及其水溶性成分水平对维持晶状体的高折射系数和透明至关重要。新近研究发现，βB2晶状体蛋白不仅仅表达于晶状体内，在晶状体外组织如睾丸、脑、视网膜等也存在较高水平的表达，并对这些组织或细胞的某些相关功能有一定影响。

βB2-crystallin is the most abundant β-crystallins and mainly expresses in the lens. Its regular structure and water-soluble ingredient point to an important role for lens high refractive index and transparency. Also, βB2-crystallin has been reported to express in some extralenticular tissues such as retina, brain, and testis, and has a certain influence on the related function of these tissues.
