The purpose of this review is to outline the status and progress of dominant eye measurement, and to introduce research progress of dominant eye application. These researches mainly include dominant eye and ametropia, dominant eye and strabismus, dominant eye and amblyopia, dominant eye and refractive surgery, dominant eye and handness, dominant eye and sports vision.
